How often do people with glomerular nephritis end up on dialysis because I really have a lot of living left to do before I’m tattooed to a machine

I have a follow up next month with my nephrologist. I have CKD stage four and lime nephritis glomerular. I don’t know how you say it anyhow, I hope I can find a medication to slow down my progression of CKD mine is showing Hallmark’s of genetic tracing. I have several genes that are expressing themselves and it’s very odd.

How are your lab results changing while taking Jardiance for kidney disease?

It's concerning that your labs are worsening and blood sugar has increased when it wasn't previously elevated. This should be discussed with your healthcare team right away, particularly your nephrologist, as they may need to adjust your treatment plan. Regular monitoring of your labs is essential for managing kidney disease effectively. Your doctor can:

• Review your current medication dosage and make necessary adjustments
• Check if you need any dietary modifications
• Evaluate if you need to see a dietitian
• Consider alternative treatment options if current ones aren't working effectively

Remember to bring a complete list of your medications and any supplements you're taking to your next appointment, as these can sometimes affect lab results.
