I am afraid not it might worsen the condition for a while they say. I would talk to your nephrologist better yet the nurses that do the dialysis might even have a better solution than your nephrologist as they deal with dialysis day in and day out good luck

I have dry eyes too. My dry eyes are related to my autoimmune disease. The term dry eyes is an oxymoron! My eyes are constantly producing tears that run down my cheeks.

I can not answer your question because I'm not on dialysis nor do I know how the body should respond. I suspect that there may be factors associated with dry eyes or vision acuity that are not related to kidney problems. My wife reads a lot and has developed problems with dry eyes. I, on the other hand, like air circulation on warm days and us a sleep apnea device at night - both of which dehydrate. We are both on a blood thinner and our cardiologist along with my kidney specialist chant hydrate, hydrate hydrate. Do you use eye drops? You might ask your medical professionals. They help my wife but she has healthy kidneys.
