Patrick Lett, MD (co-morbidities CKD IV and Parkinson’s Stage 4). I’m bedridden 6-8 weeks, with physical therapy 5 x week. I was trying to research supplements for optimum healing. Pain Rx are Butrans Patch 15 mg 1 x week, and Percocet 7.5 mg
every 6 hours. Thank you.
My suggestion/opinion, take it or leave it - Spend the time you had planned to find some supplements by clearing your mind and head of all the noise going on in there. Your body needs REST. There are very few supplements that are good for damaged kidneys. The TEAM here posted an article on supplements that are good for CKD. So your problem is resolved. At this point, your health and body are screaming at you to slow down and rest.
So sorry you are going through this! I felt and fractured my pelvis in 3 places! Takes alot of time to heal but physical therapy helped me recover.
How did they expectyou to heal without surgery? I am sorry about your situation. All you can do is the best you can for yourself.
Appreciate your comments. This traumatic injury is overwhelming. I asked you for information based on your excellent advice last week.
