I have a hydro health bottle, you should only drink one a day. I didn’t see any change in my CKD. Best to check with your nephrologist

Can you eat cereal every day with coconut milk at CKD Stage 3?

Cereal can be part of a kidney-friendly diet, but it depends on the type. Many cereals are high in sodium, phosphorus, and potassium, which need to be watched carefully at CKD Stage 3.

Here are some tips:

- Choose cereals that are low in sodium and phosphorus
- Avoid bran-based or whole grain cereals as they tend to be high in phosphorus and potassium
- Plain rice-based or corn-based cereals are generally better options
- Check labels carefully for added sodium and phosphorus additives

As for coconut milk, it contains potassium and phosphorus, so portion size matters. A small amount may be fine, but it's worth checking with your renal dietitian for your specific limits. Bubbles in urine can be a sign of protein in the urine, which is something worth mentioning to your nephrologist if you haven't already. It's an important thing to monitor at CKD Stage 3. Regarding the HydroHealth bottle, that falls outside of what can be assessed here. It's best to ask your nephrologist or care team about any specific hydration products, especially since fluid intake recommendations can vary depending on your stage of CKD and any swelling you may have.
