That's wonderful news that your numbers have gone down after 6 months on Farxiga! That's a real win worth celebrating. As a refresher, Stage 3 kidney disease means your kidneys have moderate damage but still work β€” just not at full capacity. It's split into two parts:

- Stage 3a β€” eGFR between 45–59
- Stage 3b β€” eGFR between 30–44

The goal at this stage is to slow progression and protect kidney function as much as possible. Some key things that can help protect kidney function at Stage 3 include:

- Eating a kidney-friendly diet β€” less salt, processed foods, and added sugars
- Choosing lean proteins like chicken, fish, or beans
- Staying active β€” even 30 minutes of movement a few days a week helps
- Taking medications exactly as prescribed
- Avoiding new supplements without checking with your doctor first
- Limiting alcohol and quitting smoking if applicable

Keeping up with regular doctor visits is really important, especially since some people have no symptoms at all.
